A friend just gave me a Kat Eyz capo, and it is my favorite now. I also have an Elliott push button one that I have been using for maybe 10 years that works great. But what I like about the Kat Eyz is how the adjustable part in the back grabs the neck on both sides making it very secure. My Elliott was designed for a specific guitar with a rather low C shaped neck. It doesn't work as well on a V neck.

I'm going to have to get me one of those. I love how thin it is and I hate it when capos twist from just changing chords.. and man does that guitar sound good. Funny, I say that about all of your guitars man.😂 not a bad problem to have Lol! Thanks for the heads up Patrik.. much appreciated...

Also forgot to mention one of the most important (to me) part. This capo works over the diamond valute on my gallagher. No capo works well. I can do it with the elliott but not nearly as well. The reason we want a yolkstyle beside looks is because we can store it behind the nut. This one is 🔥

I disagree on the jewelry part. It’s hard to find a good capo that WORKS as it should. Forget the looks. Buy one that creeps your guitar in tune and one that have replaceable rubber that pushes on the strings. Also one that comes in the same radius as your fretboard of YOUR guitar. Some don’t have that option at all. It’s very important. Not the looks.

Great info. I have an Elliot but will have to check the kat eyez out. You mentioned nut widths and I am curious which nut width you prefer on a guitar for flatpick.

1 3/4 is my favorite for sure. 1 11/16 works too but if i played alot of 1 3/4 the 11/16 feels very narrow.

Do you any difference in tone vs the Elliott? Looks like the Kat Eyz would weigh less which may have an impact on tone..
