Imagine knowing Tony Rice well enough that he nicknames you.. Chris is a fantastic and creative player. Critter and Josh Williams are in my top 5.

That tension problem, I do that just when I start playing scales fast. I mess up more. If for some reason I am totally relaxed and playing scales fast, I hit all the notes perfectly.

My tension usually starts in my jaw and face. If I can relax there the rest of my body tends to follow. I notice that a lot of the time players that play fast look bored almost, with a resting face. Thanks for the lesson and practice tip.

This musician is correct and true. However, unfortunately performance is not always in a good listening environment. Bar rooms dance halls Bar-B-Ques picnics and fishing holes are not always the best for sound quality and often times live performance is an afterthought. There! Now that is some first class WHINING!! 🤣😂😃🎣🎸😳😮😮😳

Four and half minutes of you repeating yourself, is not the best way to hold your audience. The intro should be short and concise. Get into the body of the lesson, this is the part, that your viewers, want to see. Conclusion; a short brief overview of what you have covered. The end

@@wesadams1774 Well Wes, your comment might be valid if I couldn't play, just letting you know, I've been playing for over 50 years. However, my comment, has nothing to do with the playing ability. Also Wes, I have a University Degree in Teaching, Which I obtained in 1982. But, you must understand that, in a video that is under 10 minutes, it would be better to demonstrate the topic, not spend four and a half minutes, on nothing. Thank you Wes, for your comment.
