@bluegrassoutdoors5 ай бұрын
@davidc.w.2908 that is pretty good money for sure, and it sounds like you have earned it. The over the road thing isn't for me, though. Mainly because of the people you deal with. I am hoping that the dedicated route that I will be moving to will be better in that aspect. For me, over a year is longer than I want to wait to make the kind of money that you mentioned. The average weekly pay where I'm going is supposed to be $1400-1700. I understand you need experience. But $800-$1000 to me is far lower than it should be as an over the road trucker. If they consider you experienced enough to be over the road, to me, that should be worth more around $1200-1400 minimum. And even that to me is low for an over the road trucker. But whatever works best for you. For me, I am definitely happy to try something different at this point, even if it's harder physically.

@davidc.w.2908 I disagree that the people you deal with has nothing to do with otr, disagree entirely. I've experienced bad attitudes at nearly every place I've gone. If the dollar store doesn't work for me, I will move on from there as well once I get some more experience in and other opportunities open up. So how much do you have to pay Roehl for your training . I drove for US Xpress for about 7 month . 16 years ago on a dedicated Home Depot account . I wasn’t getting enough miles . Wasn’t making any money. Wasn’t worth being away from home.

Why would u respect a company that has inward facing cams? They don't respect u. No offense, I really don't understand this breed of drivers. More people that work for them and accept it you're basically telling them you're ok with it so theres no reason for them to change. Don't work for them. Hurt their pockets and maybe, just maybe, they'll change their ways when they can't find enough drivers and revenue.
@bluegrassoutdoors5 ай бұрын
Most companies that I know of who offer the gycdl program have the inward facing cameras, if i'm not mistaken. I would prefer to not have them as well. For me, roehl was a company to get my cdl through. It's $5000 to get it yourself here in kentucky, if I'm not mistaken. The inward camera is something that doesnt bother me enough to keep me from getting my cdl.

Dang i enjoyed your videos until you tried to blame the economy on our current president as if the economy hasn’t gone to sh*t for the last ten years. That was a ridiculous comment. It’s been awful since covid happened
@bluegrassoutdoors4 ай бұрын
I mean no offense, but I will address what you said. The current president shut down our gas lines, left our borders wide open, used our tax payer money to fund wars and pay for illegal immigrants, withdrew our troops, leaving behind Americans and billions of dollars worth of equipment. This economy isn't the result of covid, which you hear nothing about anymore, and which has since been proven to have been used politically. It's the result of foolish politics, and the man in office now is the worst leader this country has ever had, along with Obama. Let's speak the truth if you want speak on these issues.
