Audi A6 MMI 2G bluetooth !! Installation tips

I have just fitted this kit myself. I would highly recommend dropping the glove box out by removing the 3 bolts inside the top and the 2 underneath. This gives you easy access to all cables and also allows you to route the fibre optic and power cables inside the glovebox on the left side next to the CD changer which is a convenient and accessible location to situate the box. Excellent system very happy with my purchase.

Installation is easier if you take cables from behind the changer by removing a trim piece behind the glove box. Worked perfectly.

Gerade eben in meinem A6 4F mit MMI 2G High installiert. Einbau absolut problemlos, habe das Handschuhfach entfernt und die Kabel von hinten angeschlossen. Da ist ne Öffnung zum herausbrechen im mit den Kabeln ins Handschuhfach zu kommen, so ist das Kabelzeug hinter der Verkleidung und das Gerät selber sauber eingebaut. Altes iPhone wird sofort erkannt, Wiedergabe ohne Probleme. 👍🏻

It utilises MOST system, therefore sound quality is level par to CDs. Supports all mmi 2g regardless of bose or not

Hallo benötigte Hilfe bei der Installation. Alles wurde angeschlossen wie auf dem Video zusehen, wenn ich jetzt die Zündung starte geht das MMI nicht mehr an. Woran könnte das liegen defekt am Mr12volt? MMI 2G High

It will work right away if installation is done correctly. you need to double check with the installation. Bei korrekter Installation funktioniert es sofort. Sie müssen die Installation überprüfen.

@@BabarenscheeJoo Hallo, folgendes Problem lag vor, so bald man den MrVolt an der Stromversorgung vom MMI anklemmt und es besteht kein richtiger Kontakt erkennt das, dass MMI und startet nicht mehr bis der Stromkreislauf wieder geschlossen ist. Hoffe die Antwort hilft dir weiter.

Also ich habe es wie beschrieben mit der im Lieferumfang befindlichen Klemme am Strom vom CD Wechsler angeschlossen. Das sollte eigentlich funktionieren..VG

Hi, I purchased this device and it worked fine for 5 months and suddenly it stopped working. It doesn't want to read the usb flash drive and sometimes it gets stuck on a song. The only way to fix it is to restart the MMi and it doesn't always work the first time. Any idea why that is? MMi is 2G high

Ich habe alles korrekt und genauso wie in dem Video angeschlossen, leider funktioniert es nicht. Alles eingesteckt, Zündung an, Lichter in mittelkonsole gehen nicht sowie der Bildschirm geht und mal geht er nicht. Finde weder Foren noch sonst irgendwas, warum das nicht funktioniert:(. Wenn Sie ein mmi 2g basic haben, müssen Sie den CD-Wechsler deaktivieren. Es ist nicht erforderlich, den CD-Wechsler in MMI High zu deaktivieren.

did you check that the device has power? there is a small red light on the backside that must be stable alight (I had a wobly electical connection, causing failures). Otherwise the device is not running, therefore "blocking" the MOST bus which will result in a seemingly "dead" MMI.

@@Apoindeed check the cd changer fuse that is located in the fuse compartment at the right of the glove box, for me it was only this fuse luckily
