Can you help? I have an 2002 Audi a4 quattro and my stereo doesn't shut off when I turn off the car. And no I dont have that red ignition wire so as of now its wire directly to power. How can I get an ignition wire or witch wire is it?

Is this the same process for a 2005? Like same cords for steering wheel control?

The antenna adapter and Main radio wiring harness are different on a car with the Symphony II with CD and Cassette. But basically the same.

Are you still able to retain the radio station info that is displayed on the little info display between the speedometer and tachometer? Also will the mode button on the left side of the wheel have any use?

Hi great video, just for now some things I want to change my Radio Symphony ll Cassette for a brand new Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX or AVH-Z9250BT there're the same version, but my audi is an A4 B6 2004 and have the BOSE system so you can help to know what interface I need to mount it this new radio with out issues after....

The beeps are in the radio. I have silenced the ones in my radio but check the manual of the radio you are installing.

Great video Christian !! You do a great job explaining and dig very deep into details. Im watching this because I want to replace my car's stereo. It's a Audi A3 2010, with a Symphony system, but the systems look similar to the A4 you did. Do you sell the harness and everything needed for that?

Thanks. We usually do not recommend Android radios because they can have issues with the rolling steering wheel controls. But we do have parts for generic radios.

2006 Audi A6 requires an expensive and custom installation.

Not bad but sloppy wire install behind radio.. I don't do sloppy wires at my shop, I make sure all wires are neat and secure..

If you're talking about not putting some tape on the PNP converter to keep wires looking neat I definitely wouldn't call that sloppy. I do than on purpose on certain videos. This car is tight behind the radio. Putting tape on the PNP-PIO0237 would cause the bundle of wires to become one thick mass instead of spreading out when the radio is pushed in. As a professional installer we can get around that. An amateur may have problems shoving the radio in if I put tape on that harness. My videos are not exactly how I install. They are made to make the install as easy as possible without doing anything wrong.
