My two boys ages 7 and 9 died by a drunk driver 35 years ago. Still, now and then, I forget and reach for their favorite cereal thinking they'll want it for breakfast in the morning. After a third of a century later I forget at times like nothing has changed. Then reality sets in, I put the cereal back and go back to normal life. It became a part of my DNA, I never got over being a father.

I was a police officer for almost 20 years and this brought back so many memories of all the wisdom I found in the most unexpected places and from the most beautiful human beings that most of us walk past in our daily lives......this movie reminds all of us that we are all on a journey of healing and that we should treat everyone with kindness because we never know what battles they are fighting......and that forgiveness, redemption and healing can be found when you least expect it and in the most unexpected places....and faces...... I would love to know the name of the song and the artist that was played at the end during the credit role.......thank you for this gift! I will be sharing it......

That was a beautiful film and very thought provoking. I have to say the part that got me the most was the bit about the weight that you can carry is the weight that you can manage, as this has always been a belief of mine. I have been tested on this in the last few years as my partner and the love of my life died suddenly, late 2021. Although I miss him every day, I'm still here and trying to make the most of life as best I can and will be forever grateful for the time we had .

Very creative approach to fight emotions like unbeareable grief, losses, guilt, shame, guiltripping or letting go of whatever can't serve or contribute to development, but, it is complecated, one always has to get creative in these cases but one must be ready if only others are of the opinion, to it be time, it won't be enough, some people need more help than others, some can't ever be cored, some are simply not yet or able at all, to move on. This is, of what this Film is able tell about in an extremely sensitive ways. Was fun to watch... ❤❤❤

I just started the movie and after two years she is still very crazy, it is strange that she can't go on with her life normally instead of being insane with grief, in my opinion. Remember in group session Jill told Heather not to give up hope that Katie would return. She was right cause Katie was found. It was all over Jill's face when she saw Katie with Heather that she was experiencing so many mixed emotions because you could tell by her expression that she felt like why couldn't it be me why couldn't I have Holden back but at the same time she shifted to choosing to be happy that Heather got Katie back. Through the help of Jill's newfound friends she is now able to move on and now so is Heather because her daughter was found.... That is what I gleaned from the end. Jill was such a good actress that you could almost tell what she was thinking without even having to speak.
