A couple months ago I fell asleep on my couch and woke up to a rerun of a Tonight Show episode featuring Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. I googled High Flying Birds to find the song they played on the show, which led me to KZbin, which led me to this video, which has not only reignited my love for Blur, but taken it to a whole new level. I've spent the last two months devouring every Blur performance, interview, article, music video, and film I can get my hands on, and I've got tickets now to see Damon perform in Iceland in March. Tender is one of many many global underrated songs by Blur... I remember I was in Cardiff mid 90s, song like Tender, Universal, Parklife and many others dominated U.K. air and space. The best BritPop band ever (slightly better than Oasis)

It's awesome that in four comments one after another I see every comment describing another member of Blur, it's awesome how this band sound excellent because of work of everyone and not because there's one or two good musicians. There are four great musicians making music together and I feel Blur would not be so great without any one person in the band. In their music it doesn't matter if you listen more to the vocals, gitar, bass or percussion, or the way the music is written, or additional sounds, or lyrics. There are no weak points. This music is equal and full of harmony.
