I love the plot for Double Indemnity because it's VERY true for women who are psychopaths! They frequently do the exact type of scheme that woman does! Femme Fatale like in Body Heat!!

Yeah, I imagine it is hard to find deals like that in NYC! The closer you get to MidTown Atlanta and other certain areas around the city the more the prices go up here too

One nice thing about used 4Ks is that the format is new enough that whatever you come across is probably going to be in pretty good condition. They haven’t the time to accumulate all the wear and tear that a DVD or CD might at this point

That store looks pretty cool. I've been on a used movie buying spree lately as well. Orbit has a link on their home page called "Hurricane Helene" I think, and that page has some links called "how can you help us out" or something like that; and one of the links there is "used movies". They have some really cool things there, a ton of Region B and imports. I think I've bought maybe 15 used movies from them over the last month. Shopping with Orbit is almost as good as being there in person since they carefully document if a movie has a slip cover or if there's any damage, very detailed info you don't get anywhere else. I also got a couple of their t-shirts. btw, live stream was awesome last night!

Looks like a pretty cool store. I don't have many stores like that near me. I live in Tucson, Arizona and we have 2 Bookmans and one Zia Records. They have a lot of stuff, but it's not really sought after stuff and the prices are equivalent to eBay pricing.

I go to the CD Warehouse in Kennesaw and they have a lot less inventory than that Gwinnett store. Next time I am out in that direction, I've definitely have to stop by.

@ I really like the feel of CD Warehouse and the guys working there were great. It seemed to be a bit roomier than the one you recently hit. I got a quote on 4 trade-in items, took them back and went to 2nd & Charles to get an offer comparison. The place felt like a big box store, wanted my Driver’s License and phone # to provide an offer on trade-ins, and immediately told me “DVDs aren’t worth much”… Btw, they were all Blu-rays or 4ks and he made no differentiation between formats. He said we scan them and it tells us the price and for the 4 items it would take an hour. There were ceiling high shelves full of movies in boxes. I decided I’d prefer to do business with CD Warehouse, went back, and just left them with a box and bag full of movies to price. I trust them more than 2nd to be fair; though I don’t really have evidence of that yet. My haul is The Meg and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice on 4k, and The Santa Clause Trilogy on Blu-ray. 👍

McKay’s in Chattanooga has never ending physical media! I spent three hours in there and didn’t even scratch the surface. Also 2nd & Charles in GA have good selections!

Hey Chase! Great video. I love going to used CD/Movie outlets. I could spend hours in there. Here in Canada we have a popular chain called The Beat Goes On. Not sure if it's in the US though. I would love to see more thrift shopping on your channel.

I just watched 1981 Body Heat which was excellent. Stars William Hurt and Kathleen Turner. Definitely a take on Double Indemnity.

Nice used is a way to save and find some hidden gems, easier to blind buy treat it like rental. Don’t like it give it back. I’m forever finding 4ks for 2 bucks. I never saw Double Indemnity I’ll have to check it out. Great video brother.

There's only one place similar to that, here where I live in Arkansas. I have picked up a couple of my 3D Bluray disks there as it was way more affordable than getting them online. Funny enough, I have that same DVD copy of Identity. Years before that film came out, my brother and I were brainstorming a similar concept as a movie idea. Our concept would have a child that would be revealed as the psychologist helping them come to terms that they had multiple personalities.
