The good old days when the Williamsburg Bridge-bound platforms of Canal Street and Bowery were still in service!

If you look at Canals now abandoned side in this video. You can see a dual sided staircase that is cinderblocked off. That was closed roughly mid 80s to early 90s

At 5:09 the end wall at the end of the platform is a closed staircase entrance to the ramp of the Willy B.

At 24:14, that's my fourteen years home station. Twenty years ago, i lived somewhere near by B38 bus. I sure miss riding brown M train. They were my childhood to ride.

The R42 was the best I have a question did you see the Brown M using the R40 slants and what subway lines you saw the R40 slant
@chaohwac4 жыл бұрын
I did see R40 slant M trains on the Sea Beach Line when the 911 reroute happened in 2001. For me, I saw the R40 slants on B, L, M, and Q lines.

Awesome footage, I wonder if anyone still has photos of Essex and Delancey Street Stations looked like before they rehabilitated the complex?

Good old days with the Nassau Street (M) Local Train which is my favorite Nassau Street Line even though the (M) Local Train is 6th Avenue Line which is fine.

Whoa, was that exit that goes under the eastbound track open at Essex?
@KINGTO1014 жыл бұрын
I think they had that cuz in somewhere in 99 the J and M trains were suspended via Williamsburg Bridge at all times of reconstruction....they had M trains from Metro to Marcy Avs, J to only Myrtle Av, and a shuttle between Essex and Broad Sts....and oh yes the rush hour M from Chambers St to Bay Parkway....so that walkway was the exit to shuttle buses.....sorry if this a long explanation

Do you have any action videos of a R32 G or R42 G trains?

When the NYC Subway System Was Fun Now Today it's a piece of Shit Because of all these Tech Trains
@joshbenton40802 жыл бұрын
I agree, the sounds the newer trains with AC propulsion systems have, sounds horrible in comparison to the R42 type cars. (These were built with the Westinghouse propulsion systems and had Westinghouse Motors) I honestly hate the sounds of the Siemens propulsion systems the newer AC traction equipped subway cars have.
