Hell yea, doing the same right now with an auto '74. Soon as I started I wanted to rehab everything so now its looking like a year project instead of 3 months

Just bought a 1970 2002 automatic with the intention of converting it to a getrag 245 5 speed manual. Any videos out there on how to do this successfully? Thanks

Do you actually have to make the transmission hole bigger or not?

The transmission tunnel is quite tight with the clutch slave. Most people hammer them out slightly I think! Hope that helps
