been watching the channel for a few years now , i still go back and watch ones over again, i do a bit of detailing myself ,started off my own cars then was asked to do others over the years, helping get cars ready for shows (lots of BMWs) i loved this E46 vid , i have an older E36 M3 evo 4door saloon , only 77,000 on the clock, anyway its a hobby and you are very inspirational and do a fantastic job

Over the last many years I have watched and been inspired by your videos. The level of attention to detail is something I strive to achieve on my own car. With the process, tips, techniques that you have demonstrated over the years, I have now just completed a 5 day, 2 stage correction and ceramic coating on my own car. All CarPro products and the finish is fabulous. It wont be your level of perfection, but I am very happy with it. The E46 M3 is the car that started my detailing career. It took me years to save up to get a good used one and I learned a lot when I started working on it. TBH, I didn't really like the car. The paddle controlled transmission was not something I enjoyed and kept me worried about its longevity (it's very expensive to replace). However, I do have to credit the car with teaching me a lot about paint care. Keep up the good work.

Hi Jim, thanks for documenting this car. As an e46 M3 owner myself this was a particuarly interesting one for me. I have used the Dynax UC on my own wheel arches as well as S50 and some of their other products on the underside of my car. Well worth the effort considering these cars do like to rot; it must be working as I use mine throught the winter, and it gets compliments on how clean it is underneath as well as up-top. Cheers.

Good morning, I wanted to share an approach. Using the rotary press and a latest generation wool pad for cutting and random orbitals for finishing. In England, among the Jaguar restorers I was able to learn techniques that allowed me to optimize times with the rotary press. Cartec 3000 being "long" and giving its best towards the end, raising the rpm, cutting with wool in points where the orbital would struggle. Then with cartec 4000 which is spectacular as medium I would have reached the finish. I apologize if I may have seemed flippant, I'm just a car polish enthusiast.

It's been quite a while since I watched one of your videos - due to health issues I've been unable to do much car cleaning. However, I've got my 1st booking in aome time on Sunday. Just a tip, for hidden but high impact areas like the back of the arch lips use Bilt Hambers Dynax-UB might be better as its much tougher but blackish brown in colour. Everywhere you can see and don’t want to see the wax the Dynax UC is perfect. 👌
