Only if your build date is newer than 03/04 it can be activated through coding.

Sent you an email. My car manufactured date is 04/04. So far I did the common AUX install and have successfully coded it. I'm wondering what else I can do. Mine is a 545i 6 speed Manual. Thanks.

They just need to get a newer TCU from a newer E60 and then Bluetooth can be coded. The TCU from the vehicle above was from a 2007 E60.

hey do you have to unlock the key setting to automatically unlock doors n windows or i just have to hold the unlock button ??

I have TCU from 2003, Bluetooth is enabled in iDrive, pairs, but doesn't work? it also has inCar phone... needs coding?

Not really, only if you have a module in a booth, but if the 1st buyer didn't chose this optional extra which is very likely if you don't see it in your iDrive then NO. You can't code in something that is not physically there. I think I am going a parrot way as it a lot cheaper option....
