Hey dude, I have a quick question. I bought what I thought were Viv 17t turbo, but they were some kind of different brand. People are saying they are costel. But they look very much like Viv’s 17 T being 6 x 6 also and Td04. So my question is, do you think I am able to throw in Viv cartridges into the costel housing because I am not trying to buy another set of turbos .

I’m not sure. The Costel turbos I worked on had an issue with the vband clamp holding down the turbo to the turbine housing

@ OK yeah I saw that in the video but if you were to guess, do you think that all the brands like? Fapo,Costello,viv and other brands use roughly the same designed cartridges? Because the clamp is something I can always replace no?

Did you buy chance check the balancing that it came with to see if it was balanced good enough, I think most china suppliers are getting good at Balancing now

Hey friend . I got a ta04-n17 turbos and when I bough a engine the housing on the intake side of the turbo broke and it bent the aluminum side of the turbo . Not by much but I want to replace it. Do u sell those . Or when can I . Thanks

hi, i just bought recently a mamba stage 3 steel thrust bearing TD04HL. did you recommend that?

The steel bearings are not good. You need the copper ones. I bought the steel ones about 10 years ago, they all failed and I thought the problem was the customer. The issue is that the steel bearing get hotter than the copper bar bearings

I’ve had to message them of FB and wait awhile… for the turbo builds she said to print form out mail the turbos in with form and they will contact you when they are done…
