Vents will fix that right up. Plenty of modern hypercars have all sorts of crazy openings that follow right through a huge open inner structure to a rear-facing vent.

@@MajatekYT That's impossible if you want any functionality in a car like the e30, also a lot of vents on hypercars are made possible because the engine is in the back and it doesn't get in the way of front vents and ducts. You can do a lot of aero tricks in the e30's body style but not really the super/hypercar stuff, at least not without some absurd level of modification and a loss of functionality

I would say if there's an air flow running to the back making the whole chassis into one massive rudder which will be good for drag racing, but the front is too flat making the flow of the air not that good.

Man I am a legally blind car enthusiast (born with Lebers Congenital Amaurosis, at age 12 a retinal detachment from a childhood accident, completely blind in right eye and 40% remaining in left eye. Father is a mechanic, although we aren't close I grew a love for cars) although I cannot drive my dream build is a sixth gen mercury cougar with a supercharged coyote v8, a modern automatic drag transmission with paddles, a better steering rack, a modern suspension, modern brakes, nicer wheels, a retro modern custom body kit With a like custom bright royal blue paint job and custom white or black top (without disturbing the rear quarter window line) I would really appreciate it if you would make me a concept of this that I can use as a poster but would love to listen to the process. Great work man definitely a fan man!

As an owner of this car, as its designed; and a designer myself, I'd say you failed to achieve a better design. Your skills in Photoshop are top notch, but your design with this car is a bust. It's a perky looking car that has an executive look about it. You missed that completely. I've thought of redesigns for this vehicle myself, I might mess around with it and see what I come up with.

These are iconic heritage vehicles and plastering modern styling themes to them doesn't work. Much like adding ultra low profile 'bling'y wheels to a 60's muscle car. He deleted too much character from it. I would've left the belt line striping, and removed the pseudo-Lambo front end with those god-awful front-side scoops. The M3 E30 perfected the look I think he was striving for. You know, it could have been worse. He could've done this to an similar vintage 6 series. I know - HERESY! But that being said, there are many people in this comment thread that like this styling. Different strokes for different folks. Regardless, he is a fantastic artist - more power to him!

However, since you lowered the whole body of the car I think that also gives room to also lower the roof maintaining the same shape of the greenhouse, which would accentuate the sleekness and aggressiveness of the car. congrats, you made a mini dodge charger! all kidding aside, this looked like a challenging one! i would've drawn influence from how the mazda miata (small low coupe styling) and dodge challenger (round eyes, sedan vibes, aggressive styling) were modernized. round out the sharp, boxy bits, increase pillar sizes, widen and lower the kidney grille like modern bmws. you were on to something with the first iteration! maybe if it had a more wrap-around feel like a 2008 jaguar. really cool content, and your skill is admirable!!

Absolutely beautifully done. 2 things I would suggest you did differently (Not that I'm as skilled as you, at all): Firstly; Instead of simply making the entire car's body taller (by filling it downwards), it would make more sense to me, to actually lower the body/raise the wheels and floor in the actual picture. Secondly; When changing the wheels, the way you did it, it seems that you changed the perception of the car's overall size. Regarding the second point, I'm not sure it's an issue, but I wanted to point it out, that I found it somewhat jarring. However, as I hope you get from my initial sentence, this is very well done and inspiring work!
