BMW E60 How To Change Clock Spring (4k)

BMW E60 2004 530D 160kw
Possible symptoms of faulty clock spring:
*BMW Airbag Light On,
*Horn doesn't work
*BMW steering wheel buttons don't work,
*Paddle shifter not working,
*Fault Code: Driver squib circuit open or high resistance,
Code B1049 and B1054
I changed my clock spring because of not working signal. Also changed my switches, because i bought one from touring and i have sedan, so switch funcions are diffrent.

Hello, great question sorry for 1 year delay lol (guess didin't get notifications) i used my old switches because my car had distronic (measures distances on autopilot) and replacment part didin't have that feature, but it works even until this day when i switched to mine switches. Oh and I chose to replace other switches because replacment part switches were not in good condition all bruised, mine was mint condition.

Hi, sorry for time gap, but after this job you need to use computer so that your car knows that you have replaced steering wheel position sensor and you need to calibrate it too.
