Glow Plug Relay Repair BERU GSE 102 101 for BMW E Series Fault Code: 4203

Hello. I have done it exactly same way as shown in video. I have one question: After repair, i have tested with multimeter and on 5th pin in shows near 11 and on all others near 4. is it normal?

Hi. You are measuring inside circuit resistance. If wires broken resistance is infinity. Best way to test is with lamp tester. In my case I installed in car and made diagnostics

Я думал это только у нас ремонтируют эти блоки. Новые они у нас очень дорогие. Вчера такой сделал. Снимать с двигателя очень сложно.....

I tested all the pins with my multimeter for resistance and they all show infinity

That can be caused by broken wires inside

@BMWhale I ended up opening the unit, tested all wires on the board they all are OK. I even pulled each of them with a good tug and they are very secure. I ended up buying a new one.

TSS-1 from Carelectronics. But it seems more like it is made by its own. The point is that beru glowplug relay output is impulsive dc 5V voltage, so clasic heat coil light tester works fine

@@BMWhale need tool for restoration units .in car yes you can test classic way.

Any wire?? Mat This wires work as fuses!! Can you imagine one of your glow plugs is broken and got short to ground!!

Hi, agree with you. Any way if you have any doubts buy a new one and you will be sure for 100% mate :)
