the cabriolet is heavier than sedan or coupé version this is why. Gasoline has more endurance than Diesel too.

I have a 325i 2.5 and the diesel versions are quicker too 80mph but from previous experience once 80 mph comes around the petrol 325i 2.5 pass with ease out off sight done it too Audi A5 2.7 tdi, diesels are only torquey low down out off steam once get into 110-130 mph range fact

It should have been the other way round. Petrol is fast in the first, 2nd and maybe 3rd gear. The turbocharged diesel engine should have won the race. Just better performance overall. Only gearing could alter the result, but engine-wise, the turbocharged diesel is way above n/a petrol, given identical cc and power.

I had a 325i. Wasn't bad in the high revs but dead everywhere else. I have a 330d and I much prefer this. I can't see how my old 325i would even keep up with my 330d

The guy in the 330d messed up a gear or something. No way a n/a engine with less power beats a turbocharged diesel engine.

+danieldeni20 330d seria 231 ps 200 kg cięższa od 325i. 325i 218ps. Przecież 325i wygrywa nawet na papierze. Inaczej ma się sprawa gdyby 330d było coupe.

JeD and because after 100mph the petrol will get going diesel good low down torque but I have a 325i n52 and I’ve tryed and tested this against 330d Audi 2.7tdi this whole diesel stuff is ok if u map ass out off them but any petrol same size standard will eventually do them diesel lovers should buy a transit van
