BMW iX xDrive40 71 kWh RANGE TEST

BMW iX xDrive40 71 kWh Range Test. I did a range test with the BMW iX xDrive40 with the 71 kWh net / 76,6 kWh battery pack. I will review the range on the highway to find out the minimum range of the BMW iX xDrive40. I will also do a full range test at lower average speeds in the city to find out the maximum electric range of the electric BMW iX xDrive40. I will also do a charging test at a DC fast charger to find out how much range you gain after a charging session of 30 min. I also tried charging it at an AC charger to see how long it takes to charge the battery.

The questions that I asked myself about the BMW iX xDrive40 that I wanted to answer in this video, were: what is the real life minimum range of the BMW iX xDrive40? What is the real world maximum range of the BMW iX xDrive40 with the 71 kWh battery? I also wanted to know what is the charging time of the BMW iX xDrive40 at a fast charger?

I have been testing this machine at t -25° for several days now. I conduct tests in ECO mode, the temperature in the cabin is +19 ° , the maximum that she can drive is 180 km, the minimum mileage is 130 km, and surprisingly, she drives more along the highway without stopping than if she drives around the city, constantly getting out of it, turning on / off, opening doors...

charging is way too slow. range is not enough too. i dont know what BMW is thinking to bring out such a bad performing car at such a high price. i pay premium money for that and the result would be me having range anxiety every day. no thanks BMW. sticking to my hybrid

i watched another video about the ix 50 compared to the ix 40. The ix 50 took 10h 10m to finish a 1000km drive and the ix 40 took 10h 20h. Its range is not good, but it charges decently and is quite efficient

It doesn't work this way. The total range makes sense only on videos. In reality anything above 300 km is enough. My car makes 400-500 km, I never do such long distances non stop. I drive around 200 until the first stop to stretch and pee.

It looks and feels like your average Kia. To think that this eyesore with a Hyundai-like interior is priced at almost 100.000 euros is simply outrageous; even the range is nothing to write home about.

We have driven one for two days. It does definitly not look or feel like a Kia. The exterior is not at every one's taste but the interior is one of the best looking in the whole industry. We have ordered one in a similar spec than in this video - smaller wheels and red leather seats. Please try one if it is in your budget.

don't buy it, waste money. when you bought the car ,the price right away $15000 down even if you used only 1 month but Hyundai and Kia is 1yr used but the cost is only $2000 deducted. No one envy BMW,Mercedes , only envy super car !
