@GenghisKhanrad13 күн бұрын
@@coreyknapp2151 Haha, thanks! As for the NC750X, I wouldn't 'Knapp' on it! With the low center of gravity due to the gas tank, auto transmission and (BEST PART) the aftermarket cruise control from Veridian Cruise, which works just like a car's, not a basic throttle lock (not sponsored, just love the product), you really have the world's best commuter. Plus, all maintenance is a breeze - even valves. I couldn't ask for a better bike for my needs. Definitely recommended!

Great round-up! 20 years ago, who'd have thought BMW could become the best motorcycle manufacturer in the world..? An unbelievable range with class leaders in most market segments. And yes the extras are getting a bit daft, but the bikes offer reasonable value. That R20 concept is insane! Knowing BMW it won't be years away and won't loose too much in looks. But no, the GSA is still a minger.

There are plenty of people that can afford those bikes. Where I live in NC the average home price is $500K and thats for a modest middle class 2000sqft home. I think its foolish to pay more that 15K for any bike because its just a motorcycle. But plenty of people do it. Motorcycles are not for the poor people working paycheck to pay check, at least not in America. Its an expensive money pit hobby, again in America.

The F900r and XR have had water pump issues since 2020, almost as bad as KTM's camshaft issues. I think its going to take a facebook group dedicated to the water pump issue for BMW to fix it. The water pump alone costs around $400 USD. The XR also has had really bad aero. Your helmet would get a lot, A LOT, of buffeting once you get to 55mph. But it appears they fixed that for 2025. I LOVE the F900R and XR. But at least up till now their reliability is crap. Often the Water pump/ leaking starts to occur at around 3500KLM on the clock. It does get fixed if under warranty(Unlike KTM). But still it can happen and does happen again after the warranty runs out. Then you are looking at $1000 to $1500 to fix it if you can't do it yourself. There is simply no excuse for it to have a water pump issue. I can't think of a time when the Japanese bikes have had a water pump issue.

I watched your Kawasaki video just before this one, I have to say you mentioned emissions 4 or 5 times during the Kawasaki as in the manufacturer might have some trouble meeting Euro5 but yet not one mention during this BMW video, why is that? Does BMW and the rest of the European bikes get a free pass? Can you explain to everyone why you never mention emissions when talking about European bikes? You also mentioned emissions during the Yamaha video, and, not one mention of the 2025 R1! I watched the KTM video, again, not a mention of emissions! The Honda video, the same thing, Euro5 emissions! You then mentioned the 1000 Hornet price and said it's thousands cheaper than the other Japanese bikes, you forgot that it's thousands cheaper that the European bikes too! Something tells me this was all intentional.

Yes, it'll never have the power of a Rocket III or Diavel V4 but it will be as fun if not more than those at low to mid rpm. 9:55 That's an OK motorcycle only held back by a tiny fuel tank. A shame really. 10:19 That's attractive. Bigger fuel tank, more wind protection. Not bad. Too expensive tho. 11:20, 11:28 I'm ready for a German Winnebago. 👌😎 C'mon Lottery !

BMW have reached the end of life with the large GS platform. The next bike will need to be a re invention, a lighter weight smaller capacity and more affordable bike or it will not survive.
@laceyunderall68Ай бұрын
The GSA has always been big, heavy, expensive, and yet a huge sales success so go figure. Depends what “adventure” you choose because I sure as hell don’t want to take an uncomfortable smaller capacity light weight adventure bike on a long haul adventure.
@suzyamerica4679Ай бұрын
The RTs always undersell here in the US, but there's a market for them worldwide, and they're the preferred police bike all over. It's not heavy compared to a Harley, but it's all day comfort for touring. Also heavier than the GS.
@saddle8bagАй бұрын
Reducing the rotation needed to deliver the power (essentially what Sport mode does) could be described as "more snappy." I'd describe it as losing the ability to be modulated. Pretty soon, these companies aren't going to bother with fueling at all. They'll just give you a switch that transitions from no power to full power. You can sell that to the clueless youths as "the ultimate snappy."

RSV4 spanks that RR, and sounds much better while doing so. BMW should move on and invest in a new V4, inline 4’s are meh. If they take their intake valve tech that they love to boast about and put it on a V4, it will be the next panigale, but maybe BMW is scared to make big moves? Who knows🤷🏼♂️
