@valgehiir I love S63 Coupe. It's a true beauty with elegant design and powerful. But we are talking performance here. M8 Coupe is definitely faster than M5 in most cases. The best S63 Coupe can do is around 11.3 seconds, while M8 less than 10.8. And M8 destroys S63 C on track day.

Next gen M5 2024 will be 700+HP insider BMW says. V8 with hybrid setup. But the BMW insider within M says also a fully electric M5 in 2024 with 1006HP with 2 electric engines rear and 1 major unit at the front. @Zayd Mohammad every video comparing these vehicles are bias. 1st, the E63 used has Panorama roof which adds weight but the M5 has a ultralight carbon fiber roof. The M5 will always win when competing against a fully equipped E63. Both cars are actually even when racing. @@Boosted00 the bmw V8 biturbo (the N63) is known to blow very early on, the M5 engine is derived from the N63 so it packs the same issues. As I heard, the situation got better during the years and N63 versions produced in the last 2-3 years should be far more reliable, but it's still early to say

Seigma so you really think this f90 is a reliable engine? It was the S63TU. The fact that it’s based on previous gen v8 makes me question it’s reliability especially if you tune it, something you don’t need to worry about on the amg motor.

I have seen many comparison videos between these two cars as I was looking into purchasing one of them. The E63s in all videos does the 1/4 in 11.2 or 11.3 and 0-60 in 3.2-3.4 and the M5 Competition, as long as though it launches properly, completes the 1/4 in 11.1-11.2 every time, but never quicker than that. 10.76 for the 1/4 is easily quicker than the M8 Competition (this car is not quicker than the M8) and a full quarter second faster than ever previously recorded for a stock version of this car... how so?

Hey and thanks for watching! The times we got from this M5 are really impressive and we think they are that quick because of few reasons. Optimal temperature, very grippy surface for the drag race and there is 3% incline on this airstrip, which might've made the times faster.

Mpillor: M5 comp has 617HP and the Merc has has more torque. I just picked up my 2021 M5 Comp in August. Last, both cars are great. It really does not matter; if you are a MB fan you are going to buy the AMG and BMW fans are going to buy M. 😉👍

M5 comp usually gets 11.1 1/4 and 3.0/1 to 60 this got 10.76 1/4 and 2.94 to 60. Really?? Then it pulled from behind in rolling race. Seems tuned to me.

A lot of m5 cp owners have achieved even 2.7s 0-62mph stock. and from rolling m5 is faster 0.3s from 100-200 than the merc but still 8.10s is too much for e63s , it is capable of 7.4s 100-200

Yes you are right , in stock it can run high 2s 0-62mph, it can run 100-200 in high 6s , those are facts.

LUCIFER 0-62 2.7 would give it a 0-60 of around 2.5. I've never seen a stock m5 comp hitting that, especially 10.76 1/4. Do you have any video's of it?

That M5.....is the ultimate sleeper car, quietly sneaked into supercar territory without making announcements. Its in competition with itself! Next time loose the music during revv ups and drive. Place some demarcation at 1/4mile finish line and station cameras there also. The overhead camera's brilliant though👍
