Not outside the US. The American version of the s1000 rr is a reduced power version. With flat spots that are a consequence of US emission laws. In European tests and races (circuit, strip and on the dyno) the BMW comes out on top.

The USA version of the BMW S1k is reduced in power to meet US emission laws and has big flat spots (as the guy in the video mentioned). In Europe, where we have the full powered model, in races and dyno runs, the BMW trounces the Ducati v4s

After you get the dead spot tuned out of it there isn't much that can touch the BMW. I have a 2022 stage 2 bren tuned with a full exhaust system on VP12 and there really isn't anything on the highways out here in ATL that can touch me.

You cant just upgrade the turbos without rebuilding the whole engine to withstand all that psi and i know is that cause hes overheating , needs forge internals hope he fixes it before he blows the whole motor

True, he needs to lower fown the psi. I don't know how much pressure he is rocking but with stock internals, it is recommended to keep it lowkey for safety.

Actually, the s1000rr is faster technically... 0-100 MPH is 5.27 sec on the BMW, compared to 5.5 sec on the Ducati, and half mile time is 16 sec flat on the BMW and 16.5 on the Ducati. Comes down to the rider really.

@imKay the Ducati is faster in certain gear ranges, but according to professionally tested circumstances, the BMW is faster as illustrated in my previous comment. 0-100 for the S1000RR is 5.27 sec, and 5.5 sec on the V4. Half mile on the BMW is 16 sec flat compared to 16.5 for the V4. So, according to pro tests, the BMW has the edge.

Yes, the V4 is way faster on a roll race under 4k rpms where the bimmer makes no torque & the Ducati makes quite a bit more. Go figure. Lol. It makes 10lb ft more tq at a peak of 9,500rpms vs 11,000rpms for the Bimmer. Tq is the difference maker if you’re gonna run at a low rpm. The race was much closer at a higher rpm roll, on a small stretch of road even. Love both bikes, but lets be real. And no doubt, the flat spot on the S1000RR is terrible. I don’t recommend anybody own one on a stock tune
