Hey, I have a question: is the piston to cylinder wall clerance 0.085mm you should devide by 2 as well?

Hi Crank , Why do you have to 50 degrees , why do BMW say that , instead of say torque twice with settings, so why is 50 degrees needed instead of a higher torque setting than the first? Pete

Hi Peter! Its a long topic, but in few words, because they want to reduce the chances of you making a mistake. The bolt should stretch to exact amount so to provide the best clamping force that is capable of. They can measure this and say exact torque spec, but it will be in a perfect conditions. New and clean threads, new OEM bolt, exact lubricant applied on exact places. Everything will mess around the torque spec. That is why is safer to torque it to small amount of Nm and after that, putting a side all the thing meantioned above, you will use degrees to achive this stretching of the bolt.

Why not to change main bearings on new one? They are not so expensive

Отдолу няма как да работиш с вътромера, няма място. Иначе главата може да я ползваш, ако преди това разпробиеш горивната камера. Демек ползваш глава за боклука
