Throw back to when the Marc VDS Racing Team announced it's closure of the car racing side of their motorsport business. So take a ride onboard their much loved BMW Z4 GT3's on one of it's very last few laps in the hands Augusto Farfus of around the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

also every gt3 car has the straight cut gears and the m3 e46 gtr has a v8 but its not the same as e46 gtr for race

I've listened back to back for a little while, this transmission must have about the same gearset as the old V8 M3 GTR. Sounds remarkably similar in all the gears.

Yes i think they used the same gearbox or upgraded it a bit. The engine in the Z4 GTR, the P65B44 sounds similar to the E46 GTR engine the P60B40.

Yeah i think they use the same or similar gearbox. But the engine is an improved version of the E46GTR engine. The E46 used the P60B40, and the Z4 uses the P65B44 im pretty sure.

It came to life as s65b40, stroking it 4.4 (b44) was created which was used in e92 m3 gts and further tuned for gt3. GTR had flat plane V8.

+Darko all of them are flat plane, P65B40 is pretty much identical to P60B40 except that its mated to sequential gearbox which almost has no whine. It sounds exacly the same as P60B40.
