Saying that somebody has no taste is completely wrong, everybody has taste (unless the relevant olfactory senses are disabled in some way). The idea that everyone is a sheep to a group belief isnt entirely incorrect, but there will be people that disagree with the general opinion in a society that is free. If we were all at school, where there are strong bias and cultural dynamics then maybe you would have a case, but we are not, at least not all at school and have the impressionability of personality to follow one group view.
