1. does the side bag or mount have a locking feature? 2 how heavy this the mounting kits? ( extra adapter & plates is no good for weight saving) . 3. the tie downs system for top bag looks so easy to get loss and may need to keep checking, ( Rod Strap may a better choice)

If you bought these soft side bags, did they come with installation instructions? Mine only came with operation instructions. Did you use install instructions? Where did you get them? Mosko Motor install instructions help some, but there are some differences.

I just bought 2 of these Atacama soft side bags from local BMW dealer, but there are no installation instructions & dealer does not know. Anyone know how to obtain install instructions? Believe I have most of it figured out, but I hate to guess, I am sure a lot of engineering went into this. Mosko Motor website helps, but there are some differences. Great sales video for these BMW bags, but how about some install help? Nothing on google or KZbin about install instructions. Called BMW Motorrad & guy knows nothing. How can it be so secretive!?

How do you fit this bag on the exhaust side of a 2018 Gs 1200 adventure with the OEM pannier rack ?

There is an adapter plate to accommodate the soft bag near the exhaust, the adapter plate is sold separately. I just bought 2 Atacama soft bags & adapter plate for my 2018 R 1200 GSA. Hope that helps.

BMW, may I suggest you commission a fabric company to weave in a stainless wire like a rip-stop design to the fabric. My two-month-old soft bags would not have been slit open and all my content is stolen on my trip. 10 years with hard cases never had anything stolen.

Looks good but I do NOT see how you can securely LOCK (with a key) the side pannier to the rack nor can you lock the zippered bag on top! Lone Rider semi rigid got both right on their soft pannier model! You can just use a knife to cut the lock key strap....SMH

These bags are made by Mosko Moto out of Washington state. They’ve been under contract with BMW for a few years now producing essentially the same bag with different cosmetics. Bombproof stuff. Great small company. That’s where you can find those straps.
