Thanks for all the valuable tips and info coach. I won my first race of the year on Sunday and you were a huge help.

Hey Coach G in France now so I always catch up at a later time. Interesting that you spoke about Evansville. I can remember when we were 16 or 17X in the main and Nelson went down in the S turn and you were first and I was second. You were tucked behind your number plate in the downhill portion but probably didn't reposition correctly and washed out in the last turn and I slammed into you. I was pissed to not get a podium finish but you just shrugged it off. You were already in a positive mindset at such a young age. And Thanks for the videos. Gary Hellman

Lmao. I was probably holding it in... thanks for this. The things we remember eh! I remember sliding out in the s turn my first year pro taking out Brian Foster, and he just said with a smile, I owe you one. Meaning if he was aggressive at the cost of me, then he had money in savings!

I'm also start right but jump left. Just feels natural.

Start left, everything else is right. Start left so that second pedal is my dominant leg for full crank vs half.

Age requires you to be 13+ in the USA. After that it’s up to you determine when you’re ready. I personally don’t believe in placing a limit on anyone and it’s best to have acquired all of the skills to race at a “conscious competence” level before clipping in.

'Instagram Pro' lol . . . sad but true indicator of modern culture. Great point :)

Yeah, it;s all good, back then we had guys who also found their niche as they weren't focused on winning as much as others were.
