I listened to this while on vacation in Alberta. We drove from Calgary to Edmonton, and this song helped so much for a long and painful drive.

You saw a video entitled Boards of Canada - Forest Moon in your suggested videos, and here we are. You didn't have to click the video, but you did. And so did I. Hello! We will probably never meet. This makes me sad but the fact that you exist at all makes me happy. I'm glad anything exists. Have a good day, whoever you might be.

@@person8101 Friend?! Why do you slice yourself with your own words. Everyone has a role to play in reality, even if that roles a firestarter. Ive always found depression is more like being set ablaze than drowning. You see drowning becomes peaceful, but burning is relentless. It consumes you. None the less it can also drive you. Someone on fire doesnt stop for a breather, they keep running and never stop. Let your suffering fuel your conviction

This is like the soundtrack of all the weird memory-like thoughts I have when I experience certain atmosphere. I have wondered for years why I have these thoughts that feel like memories but there's not an actual memory, rather a feeling with a single image left over. This fits it perfectly o_o

sometimes this song makes me so happy, and other times it makes me feel that nastalgic pain from thinking of all the old friends i used to have that hate me now or life has crushed them completely and twisted them into something they arnt. I know the brothers have been through serious pain you can hear it in the music the passion to create a voice for suffering

the arabian-sounding synth melody most pronounced @ 5:31 to 5:49 is still just as muffled as the original rip, sadly... :(
@partirparlesarmoires5 жыл бұрын
I believe this melody is a reminiscence of some final vocals in "The killing moon" by Echo & the Bunnymen, at least it creates exactly the same atmosphere
