Yeah, the whole point of a folding stock is to make it easier to travel in a vehicle. The second those guys unassed the buggy those AK stocks should have come out. And no stock whatsoever on the UZI. The armorer should leave the business.

That would be shot down for "creative differences" by the people making the decisions (producer/director/etc.). The armorer probably said all of what you said... but everyone making the movie said it looked cooler doing things that don't make sense and made the decision to be complete idiots. Also... if I was armorer on that movie, I would have walked out. The actors have no barrel awareness and that's a recipe for disaster I wouldn't take the blame for.

Yeah, this is one of the dumbest clips I've seen in a while... Pretty sure this was supposed to be subtle satire with an embellished 'Buster Scruggs' kind of character. Like an 8 year old kid making up wild stories of his pretend character... 'he was 7 foot tall and could shoot a flea off a coyote at 800 yards with his old Sharps rifle'.
