Thanks Lisa, yes the fish that we popped off the line was a barracuda, unfortunate we catch tons of those around Bimini, we cut them loose and wait for the good stuff.

its about 60 miles. when the seas are calm its a very easy and very quick ride over there. Good luck.

We crossed 3 times last year, all in the summer. typically the seas start to clam down in May and stay calmer through early September. There are some opportunities to cross at other times of the year they are just not as reliable.
