Quick tips for the video and dIYers .monel staples are the best,hands down an about $3 more per thousand Qty box about 23$ check out the rusted carriage bolts reused to hold the boards down. Spend the extra on ss bolts to reattach boards your already going thru the trouble.!60z or heavier carpet for drive on boats of larger than 19.also consider composite bunks and slicks instead of carpet. THe stanley hammer stapler works great as the substitute for the elec. doufast also 2x4 x 10 treated cost less than 8$ if there painted black chances are there not treated

how do you staple the boat blanket if you don have any wood, i want to wrap aluminum tubes on my multiple stack trailer

I am going to replace my boards, should I glue the carpet to the bunk boards or is it not really needed? Thanks

Gluing is not required. Just use SS staples or Monel staples.

Yes, stainless steel staples are made and we are using them here. You can also use and buy "Monel Staples" that will fit some of the most popular staple guns. These monel staples can be purchased at your local hardware store.
