Boating adventures on Cooper Lake and Trail Lake: Kenai Peninsula, Alaska

The weather was perfect both days on this weekend! We trolled for trout on Cooper Lake and adventured up Trail Creek from Trail Lake. Two new to us spots in one weekend. Awesome!

Wow, that scenery is epic. Emerald green water, deep green forests, and snow capped granite grey mountain peaks. You should feel guilty for living in such a gorgeous place.

I’d be willing to be that first set of tracks you saw were otter tracks. Based on the size and how close together they were.

It's a Sitka downpour jacket. I have the pants too. They are the soft outer layer to make you quieter when moving through brush. Super good all around rain jacket.
