This is awesome! These kids had no idea what they were watching. I love that funky drumming.

I have spent the last half hour trying to find something like this. I was one of those kids and I was thinking about how awesome our music teacher Mr.Buckley was. Then I remembered this and couldn’t find anything and thought I was crazy! So glad I found it!

I'm flustrated. Somebody help me! Don't get me wrong. I appreciate this. BUT... is there a live recording of Bob doing my favourite song ever? Lucky Seven Sampson! I'd love to see that.

Bob has solid, solid jazz chops. I wonder if he ever regretted getting involved with Schoolhouse Rock because I would guess 99% of folks who know his work know him through Schoolhouse Rock. I wonder if he did it thinking it was a throwaway gig for a quick paycheck (probably a small one), but it really moved folks and became a part of American culture. Don't get me wrong-- Schoolhouse Rock is awesome. He is obviously enjoying interacting with the kids here.

testodude that’s probably how he felt at first and I don’t know if he was locked into a contract but if that was the case I doubt he would’ve continued let alone become the musical director of the show
