One of the first attractions about his songwriting for me was his ability to write the love songs that hadn't been written yet,exhibiting a mature outlook toward relationships outside of the pop format of his day and previous decades. Thanks for this clip!

Now if somehow you can get the full footage of "Simple twist of fate" from the Rolling Thunder Review, the scene from the bingo hall, when Dylan is on the piano. That's the song I'm going out to. Your Ballad of a thin man video made me fall in love with Bob's music, I'm tryna get all my friends to listen to him, though they have yet to. I just don't understand why in the 80s and onwards his live peforming kinda sucks hard. Its so hard to watch after watching his 60s shows and 74-75 shows. Anyway that's my rant. Keep your videos up they are awesome.
@SwinginPig4 жыл бұрын
Ezra Malzbender thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed that video, I had fun editing it together. I do agree, I’m not into his stuff after about 1978. His voice went downhill after that, but he still had the charisma, which is why people still came to see him, and still do. Cheers!

That's how I feel about Bobby. A great song that depicts how I feel if I ever get the chance to meet him. I want to be friends with him. I consider myself a friend. Not a fan. I've been wanting to meet h ince the 60's and never had the opportunity. Heading to add the inal dad of y life, I certainly hope the opportunity comes. I would be a good friend. The people I've known for years will attest that I am a good friend. I don't have a lot of $ but I'd drain my bank account to save a friend or one of my children from hardship that could be fixed. I'd let them in my house during the wee morning hours if they needed me. I'd listen to them on the phone if they need to vent to someone. I keep secrets we'll. Guarantee I'm holding secrets of friends. I tell people sometimes when they start to tell me something to please tread lightly, I've already got enough secrets not my own. Far too many than I should have. But I'll keep them to myself. Hopefully I'll forget some so I don't get in trouble for knowing a few. I just want to be Bobby's friend. I've called him Bobby since I was a young teen. I think of him as Bobby, not Bob and not Robert and certainly not by his last name he took.To me, he's Bobby and I don't think I could call him anything else. I truly hope I will meet him in this life on earth. I hope I'll see him in the eternities, but if I never meet him here, how would he know me there or vice versa. I'll be 71 yrs old in a short month. It'll be 2023. I'm not getting younger and I have health issues that have shortened my life. I'm trying to get as healthy as I'm able to do I can stay around a bit longer. He's got 10 years on my and is active as one can get. Doing live concerts at his age amazes me. He does this for his fans. This newest generation of fans amaze me. They love Bobby. To them, he's awesome. Just like he was to me when I was young and still is to me today when I'm not young anymore. There's a lot of good musicians these days. They're all really good. But Bobby has always been and always will be my #1. A wonderful Poet. A great player of that harp. He plays so very well. I usually can recognize it if Bobby is playing the harmonica. Several others used the harp to. Tom Petty was quite talented with the harmonica. Gosh, I miss him singing live these days. A great musician. There's no so many that were here and now gone. George Harrison is missed. So many others. When I say missed, I'm talking about myself missing them. They're gone from the earth. Bobby is still with us and I hope he stays for a long time more. I know he's not growing younger either. We all age. I just want to meet him and hopefully be his friend. I want to be able to take those few steps up to him, and kiss his cheek. That's a song I've loved for decades. All I really want to do is baby, be friends with you. I love the verbage throughout the song. One heck of a Poem that is. Well good night to whoever is reading this. Glad you're fans of Bobby's. I'm sure he appreciates that. He's a good man.
