Bob Dylan writes and records a melody freely. But then (another) Bob Dylan tours and performs the music. THAT Bob Dylan has an oppositional feeling to the recorded version of the song and simply cannot and will not perform it as it was recorded.

Bob requests no filming or recording. Why can’t everyone respect that? True fans always understand his insistence that we all live in the moment. The audience overwhelmingly did this and because there were no distractions we could all be there with this superb group of musicians to experience the magic.
