I'm pretty sure this marks the first time I've laughed and listened to Bob Mould at the same time...two activities I've always deemed mutually exclusive.

I saw Mr. Mould in concert a couple months ago at the ELA in Southstreet Philadelphia. I'm seventeen, and everyone there was at least twenty years older than men. But it was pretty cool seeing this guy live! He played this song of course!

I love Bob's music videos. I love how he has a sense of humor and puts them in videos like this one and I Don't Know You Anymore.

I love it. It's so great to see Bob finally so comfortable in his own skin. BTW, The video seems like a pretty tongue in cheek ode to The Foo Fighters videos.

RSM flyer/poster seen at 2:33 - This entire videoclip was shot in legendary basement venue CakeShop on the lower east side, NYC. 'Star Machine' wasn't until 2012, and my MANY gigs at CS were back in the 2008+s. Dunno how that poster was still up at the sound man's station. Fascination! Hi Bob. www.moorestevie.com/live/cakeshop.html

I read all the comments below, and I'm really sorry. Great music, great lyrics, great video, great acting. (And yes, the video actually does go along with the lyrics) And, despite it all, Bob's under-appreciated. It is kind of tragic. Which is kind of the point, isn't it?

In the ending of THE DESCENT video Bob finally built a non conventional house for himself. Here he adds a little to Jon's non conventional bedroom. Next video will be Jason's turn to improvise a place to live?

I doubt that very much. Read his autobiography.
@JASCOBAR10 жыл бұрын
neurochunk He has an autobio book? Got the name? I've seen HD twice and him on stage 3 times. Never got an autograph. He is my #1. Zen Arcade is my above all favorite. All I have is that once 3 hours before a performance at the venue (Lawrence KS.) he was appearing I was in the game room playing pin ball. He and another fellow came out & shot pool right next to me. Bob was tired & real bummed about something I know what it was I say it not here. I could have easily gone to the front window of the place, grabbed a flyer stuck to it, produced a Sharpie, & had him sign it. I didn't. I left him to his conversation especially when he said to the guy he was with, "I'm just wanna go back to the motel & zone out for a bit." I figured the BEST thing to do was let him. So I have a memory: I was in a ZEN ARCADE just another guy playing the silver ball while Bob was 4 ft. away shooting pool. That's enough to last me.

JASCOBAR Seriously? it's called "See A Little Light the Trail of Rage and Melody" (See Amazon, iTunes etc)". And it's an AUTO biography, so NOT some piece of crap full of gossip written by someone who's never met him.
