The day I was born, 4/8 1980, my dad at work, a builder, fell 3 stories and broke his back. To this day, he remains in his wheelchair. My brother (2yrs older) and I would sit on my dad's lap in his wheelchair watching Red Wings games. THESE right here, are my very best memories. Sitting on dad's lap at midnight while mom works double shifts at the hospital to make ends meet. We'd both fall asleep on his lap, he'd wheel us into our bedroom, pick up up, kinda toss us in bed lol. Yeahhh, good memories.

@@john9391in New York, no, Domi didn’t add much to the team beyond fighting and stirring things up. Coach Roger Neilson never gave him a chance to prove himself. When he departed New York, Domi was given the chance to play regularly. He was a regular third liner and when necessary, could take shifts on the top lines with the superstars. You don’t play alongside men like Selanne, Sundin, and Gilmour if you’re devoid of skill. And he did prove himself a decent player with the gloves on. Over 1000 games in the NHL and over 100 goals scored, those are respectable numbers for an enforcer.

I was at this game. It was a great game overall as it ended 5-5. Red Wings led 5-4 till Brian Leetch scored the game tying goal. Round 1 of Domi Vs. Probert was fantastic, then I saw Steve Chaison take a running start from the back of his net and went full speed after Joey Cirella and tackled him down to start the pier 6 brawl.

I went to the game either right after or a few days after. It was my first time at Madison Square Garden. I just turned 12. I grew up 15 mins from the Nassau Coliseum but MSG was an easy 30 minute train ride from Lynbrook Long Island. Never forget walking into this place and realizing how much different it was than the Coliseum. Just fell in love with the energy of the building. Anyway, people were still talking about this fight on the way to and at the game. It was big news. I saw the Rangers and the Canucks and I think Domi fought Agnew.

@christopherjaskowiak907319 күн бұрын
@@mirandasalinas9412 Nobody jumped anyone in any of the Domi-Brown fights. Domi was 0 and 3 against Brown, but only the third round was seriously one-sided. And even in that third fight, the best Brown could do was stop Domi in his tracks, but not actually hurt him. Brown absolutely mauled or leveled guys like McKenzie, Grimson, Cronin, Kimble, McKay, Russell, Baumgartner, Parker, Miller, Kordic, etc, but couldn’t actually drop or injure Tie. You gotta give Domi respect for that, taking bombs from Brownie and emerging relatively unscathed.
