Hello Julian and Bob Thank you for posting this video. I need all the help I can get. It's been thirty years since I first heard the Tinnitus. From absolutely no help to just starting to get the help I need. Again thank you and may our Lord and Savior Jesus Richly Bless you and your families.

You might want to consider NOT tracking the T. I have had T for over 20 years. Sounds like you are on the right track with becoming one with T. The more you disassociate from this, the better it gets.

I got a little story to tell, maybe and I hope this will help people. I have tinnitus, sometimes panic attacks and I used many ways for relief, almost every sound on KZbin and there are some nice ones but hearing these sounds all day pfff. But what helped me was this. I had to quit smoking so I did, but moments come that you are craving for a sigaret, my niece gave me a lollipop instead, you know the one with gum in it and it helped me to get my mind out of smoking. So I bought a bag of lollipops, there is always one that has the wrapping paper so tight that you have to struggle to open it. But I noticed while I’m hearing that crackle of that wrapping paper I stopped hearing tinnitus😳So I took 2 wrapping papers in each hand and start crackling near my ears and I had instant relief🤤It’s not a cure but it helps me also to not focus on the tinnitus but on the movement of my fingers and the crackle of the paper. I put my hands down because it looks a little bit silly a grown man crackling papers near his ears with a lollipop in his mouth🤭but I kept on crackling the paper with one hand . When I stopped and I’m in bed i hear it but not that loud. During the day it can take 10-20 min before I hear it again but when I’m busy and also focused on other things then I don’t hear it. So I just found this out by accident and I don’t know if it works for someone else but I go to sleep with two wrapping papers under my pillow like I’m hiding candy😂 Any wrapping paper will do especially the ones who crackle a lot. Now I’m not even crackling it near my ears and not very often or loud to have relief, it’s very strange. My little niece and her bubblegum lollipop, gonna take her shopping this weekend because she saved me. No more panic attacks, but acceptance and crackling that paper. So I just wanted to share this because “I KNOW”, tinnitus is so exhausting like you can’t get your mind to rest. I really hope that it helps people especially the ones who are hearing it very loud. So GOOD LUCK! O*🍭

Goodness that's the best experience I have ever read!!! and made me smile!!!!! Am so pleased you have found something that probably no one has ever come across!! so thank you for sharing!!! i may not go down the lollipop route as i have somatic tinnitus as well (so nice - NOT) but the principle of the crackling paper sounds very interesting!! thank you for taking the time to share this!!!! 😁

So agree with your assessment of T after the retreat. I have had days go by when I do not even think to check my tinnitus. Julian is so right; the nervous system (anxious or calm) drives the tinnitus intensity.

The audio is fine for me. Very clear. Thanks Bob really appreciate this video. I’m a subscriber to JCH’s methodology and practices, so this is very helpful in terms of knowing what his in-person retreats are like. So glad you’re on the improve mate. I’m at the beginning of my journey … my tinnitus experience is currently 8’s to 9’s daily. It’s so loud at times it feels like my eardrums are physically reverberating and my head scape is consumed by a thunderous cascade of kettle whistles and crickets. It’s tough.

It just seems like everyone that sees these massive decreases after a short period of hope, have a large percentage of the cause being anxiety. Idk, and there’s no way for anyone to know. But it scares me. I have really complex autoimmune issues causing worsening of symptoms and eustashian tube dysfunction so there’s a lot of pain and spikes that basically just raise the baseline of the tinnitus. I have no idea how to keep going like this anymore.

Eustachian tube dysfunction can be helped with lots of daily yawning and face massage. Cranial work can ease nervous system activation. Understanding how this condition works and feeling your anxiety coming down improves symptoms. Coming out of fight or flight freeze brings down the hypersensitivity, and managing your autoimmune issues in the best way you can will help too. Hope is nice but knowing is much better. www.quietenapp.com

Unfortunately I can’t hear this over my tinnitus 😞 low volume, kind of a good distance from the mic also.
