This is a good-quality video of mid-80s Kingfish featuring Bob Weir plus Steve Kimock (guitar) Matthew Kelley (guitar, harp, vocals) Barry Flast (keys, vocals) Steve Evans (bass) Dave Perper (drums) and Anna Rizzo (vocals). This was apparently part of Barry Flast's extensive personal archives and was circulated after his 2013 passing. The Barry Flast Collection
Barry Flast was a musician who played with the who’s who of the Rock & Roll world for 45 years. He was also a prolific music collector who always had a tape recorder going every place he went. Barry passed away in November 2013. His wife has generously offered to share some of his music collection with the music trading world. This project will be ongoing for a long time to come. Barry collected thousands of soundboards, audience recordings, and various home recordings & compilations. Many of them will be shared over the coming months and years.

I’m confused. I thought Bob Weir had broke a bone and was not playing guitar around then. I guess this is just before the injury. I must be thinking of Ranch Rock later in August, or maybe it was September ?

In the notes from the uploader it says this audio long circulated as 8-14 but Barry's video tapes all say 8-13. I do see it listed as 8-13 on gdsets dot com as well so that's my best guess anyway.

Saw this line up on 10-31-86 so fun. As a young Deadhead I had never experienced any Kingfish live. Dare I say, that night as much as I missed Garcia and JGB delivered, kingfish closed the show and really rocked.
