Thanks xlnt as always, for the rowing exercise one could use a good rope, large towel etc around a pole, post, tree etc.. lean back a bit and pull yourself toward it. On a walk a street sign post works well also.

62 in Nov., same day as Brad turns 61! I figured out my leg prob, knee physio has made back of my knees and calfs muscles tight, now to figure out how to loosen them and yet still exercise, 🤔!

I am about to complete my 76th year. I have worked out on and off most of my life, but since retiring it has become a weekly ritual. Strength and balance are key to enjoying life IMO. I have worked up to where I can turn a Bosu upside dow, jump and land on it balancing flat footed, and do 25 squats, then jump off. I step back on the Bosu and do either 20 single leg swings front to back, or side to side. This is where I am today. Looking for the next progression of my balance. Thanks guys for all your help!

I know we start to slow down a little. You guys are very encouraging. I am 58 years age. I use be 3 hours in a gym. Now I walk my little dog Rudy everyday very informative videos. 😅.

Ok I work in construction and literally have had back pain for 4years after a unpredictable sneeze, yes a sneeze threw out my lower left side of my back.. after watching this video and trying the suggested walk as though in "high heels" lol. My back pain was almost gone within 10min.. thanks guys! Love your show and hope you continue the great work and information about physical therapy for years to come.

Oh my g... The sneeze. I am not alone. In my early 30s I peaked around the door of my little ones to see them sleeping those last few minutes before they woke up. With my spine twisted and bent I sneezed. More than a month of not being able to sit, carry anything or breathe well. Almost 30 years later and still afraid of sneezing. I have a bulging disc and, sometimes, I will get in the driver's seat just the wrong way and have a day or 5 of pain. Sometimes I take a deep breath just at the wrong time, there is a spasm and the pain comes.

Great demonstration of exercises! At 68, I am so far staying mobile and reasonably strong thanks to a lifetime of athletic activity, house/property chores and strength training. I work from home (for 38 years) so have had good opportunity to incorporate movement. BUT, I have had some issues which relate to muscle imbalance: hips particularly. At any rate, I stay tuned here and other spots and add to my routine. Thanks all!!

Get you some healing scriptures from the Bible and read them everyday. God’s word is healing to our body and have faith in God because those are his promises to us. You are guys are superheroes , I am a 64 year old female veteran who is athletically tore up, I was stationed in Hawaii in the 80’s and participated in the experimental physical training program, today my feet, knees and hips are stiff and painful and find these exercises are key to my mobility , huge thanks guys 💕

Just discovered your videos! I’m 68 and have always been active, walking, cycling, gardening and looking after the household chores and yard work on my own, but I was surprised to realize how my flexibility had declined when I recently started to have a lot of neck pain and stiffness. I’m seeing a physiotherapist and doing the exercises he recommends, but I wanted to do a bit more on my own because it quickly became apparent to me that my flexibility issues weren’t confined to my neck! Your videos have been a real find, I appreciate the clear directions and explanations, and your humour and encouraging approach. Looking forward to better fitness with the help of these videos, thank you!

Great seeing you Bob, if only for a second! I have a Bob & Brad story: I’m in seeing my family doctor talking about my MRI. In our discussion I told I am doing physical therapy at home. With the “most famous physical therapists on the internet “ he said Oh I just heard about them from another patent. I then began to tell them all about my experiences with you guys as my go to for over 6 years! Being our family doctor for over 20 years, he is watching me pretty closely since the loss of my husband’s passing this year . I told him you were one of the first places I went for for balance and senior exercises( it helped just get me out of bed). My doctor said he would have to watch you and catch up! You are both fine gentlemen … “See You”are the most famous physical therapist on the internet. Thank you for all you do…

True, "Mike you're gonna get there guarantee!" Time flyes too fast before we know it. I didn't know😮 I was that old... Now at near 73 I still don't believe I am this old, and only because my lower body hurts. I walk 5/6 days a week if I can.

At age 66 I am definitely noticing deteriorating mobility and balance. Thanks for this! Hardest one is the lunge….I have daily pain in my legs that makes walking, kneeling & getting up very hard.

For Balance I learned in Kung Fu to use the toes like a claw when trying to keep balance when standing or doing lunges or squats. I am almost 70 now. enjoy your videos.

I’m 74 and I have to say this was an excellent lesson. I still can do most of these exercises but making them a routine will be my goal. Thanks. I just tried pickle ball for the first time and pulled a back muscle on a jammed backhand. Not giving up.

For me it was skating, not canoeing. Oh my goodness! Ice had never been so slippery!! I noticed all the other seniors on the rink were wearing wrist protection, knee & elbow pads, and helmets.

Wish I would have found you guys 15 years ago, I knew I had a balance issue. I just didn't know what to do about it.. May sound crazy, a year ago I was on a trip and I broke a bone in my left foot..It healed quickly. Just saying, give me more videos telling me me how to heal myself..55

My mom played competitive tennis from childhood until well into her eighties, even after a shoulder replacement. Always in the medals. She only stopped after a severely botched hip replacement, when her surgeon put her leg back on crooked.

I noticed you forgot to mention stuff in the last band exercise. That's to keep good posture, your arms close to your body & your shoulder blades meeting when pulling back. I remember this as being very important when I had frozen shoulder PT.

Thanks for the great video! I noticed a change/loss in my strength and balance as early as my 50s. At that time, most of my exercise consisted of walking the dog and not much else. But one day in my early 60s, I noticed significant weakness in my legs as I stepped up to board a bus -- I had to grab on to the handrail for dear life as I heaved my slightly overweight body up the next step and into the bus! It was tragic and it was my wake up call! I now do 20 minutes of functional exercise (balance, strength, and moderate cardio) most days of the week and addition to walking my dog (I have even lost a few pounds). My strength and balance have improved but I still struggle through the exercises in that they don't seem to get easier (especially lunges and getting down and up from the floor). Still, I continue with these exercises because the alternative would not be good.

I love the suggestions particularly the toothbrush idea. I’m always looking for ways to incorporate exercise into other tasks because I resent the time spent exercising! I know it doesn’t make sense but I loathe exercise so much that any that I can do in the normal course of my day are more likely to get done. 🤪
