I'm Colombian so I was blown away by the fact that Bobby revealed they're coming to Bogota for the second time, I saw them live the first time thanks to Rock Al Parque (Rock At The Park) and was such an amazing show, they just released their album a year ago called "Ironbound", I listened to that album all day before the show and it was absolutely awesome!

I actually saw overkill last month in Dallas with heathen and exhorder. I also got to meet overkill and got autographs from each member before the show. They are awesome live all 3 bands killed it that night.

I was about 12 people deep for that show in San Bernardino in front of the Woman's room. I couldn't believe they were crammed into that space. I have footage of it somewhere on my phone. They were still awesome. Had that old club gig vibe.

lol I saw Slayer and another band open for W.A.S.P. in the late 1980s in West Hartford, CT...💯💯💯🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 A football field, just the field region, is the neighborhood of pushing 10,000 capacity... The "Concert Club" in West Hartford, CT was about 45,000 sq. ft. with a capacity of about 5,000 people... - which 'about half the field region...

After hearing the comments about the song ESCAPE, I went back and re-listened to that song and that song alone. I am not fond of Lars’ drumming on it (it just gets too busy, like he’s trying to match James’ alternate picking going into each bridge). BUT…that being said…RIDE THE LIGHTNING is kind of my gateway record to Metallica.

Did you like that last Sacred Reich album from a few years ago? I was hugely bummed out by it, waiting all that time for new Reich music and then getting this energy challenged, bland release. They better up their game on the next one. Absolutely love their early stuff - all of it!

Fully understand why you did not go to the Metallica stadium show. I hate big shows too but it was cool to see the Texas show in a theater here in germany yesterday. Great sound, no problems. Still love to go to small metal shows and Overkill were still fantastic on their last european tour. The album is the best since Ironbound. Great hooks and melodies. Thought about a thrash sixpack but can't do it because every thrash band has albums I don't like.

I gotta say that i've been following all of you guys shit since the beginning and in the old days i was wondering why Eddie had a couple of "comedians" on that metal show. Anyway I've learned to like you all but it seems to me that Eddie is really getting full of himself, Don is still a douche and I love Jamison's skeptical opinions.....just sayin... and again, Pat Thralls best work was on 'Heat in the Street''- Pat Travers album it is up there with Montrose, Van Halen Ac/ Dc etc... best drummer ever at the time Tommy Aldridge. it was the BOMB in '78. U. F. O. changed my life on Don Kirshners ROCK CONCERT in ' '74 and that's all we had on TV once a week back then, so I love Ed's devotion to Schenker.......he;s still the best , just saw him a few months ago in St. Louis...
