Bobby Brown Didn't Recognize His Own Jealousy of Whitney Houston! (Part 39)

I'm back at it again with another tea-filled book review involving the late legendary Whitney Houston's life! This time I am comparing Bobby Brown's books to both Kevin Ammons and Robyn Crawford's book. Kevin Ammons was a disgruntled employee of Whitney Houston who wrote the first tell-all book of Whitney Houston's life in 1996. It is assumed by most people on this channel that most of what he wrote wasn't necessarily wrong -- just exaggerated. For those who don't know, Robyn Crawford is Whitney Houston's ex-girlfriend, former employee and childhood friend. Their relationship came to an ultimate blow and downfall during Whitney's insane flight with R&B Singer Bobby Brown. Robyn has been portrayed in various movies and documentaries over the last two decades. With Robyn coming out with her book, it left fans of Whitney Houston with questions and tea. I want to get down to the truth so I decided to pair up all four books to see what we can equally draw out of both. Who is telling the truth about Whitney? Do we really know her?

Whitney has said publicly that Bobby was jealous of her. I don't think he recognized it. She often dimmed her light and tried to uplift him at every opportunity. I have a family member who has the tendency to pop off over trivial things. One day after a v heated argument, I asked 'WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM???? What I heard shocked me. He said ' Your happiness makes me unhappy'!! I was like wait!...What? ...huh? why?... he confessed, 'its because I don't have my own'. Sooo in my case, he's family, I dont live with him and can avoid him, but in Whit's case she was married and had to deal with his jealousy on a regular basis. Unfortunate...

@NIVEA Jealousy is a very dangerous emotion, coz u cant always tell that someone is jealous by looking at them . Its an emotion that manifests itself in behavior. I recall telling my family member about a new job, he was sooo happy for me (at least that's what I thought) he started doing his happy dance …….I was like dang he's happier than me!!. Sooooo then I made the mistake of telling him every time I had good news. Little did I know it was tearing him apart - until one day he snapped. That's prolly how Bobby felt when Whit was winning all dem awards.

@NIVEA it took me a very very long time to realize it was Jealousy. All those times whit would dedicate her awards to him, bring him on stage, insist folks call her Mrs brown.... It must have been v tiring...

Ms k BB felt like he put his career on hold to be there with Whitney and BK on The Bodyguard tour. So with her winning all those awards, and being Americas princess he was most definitely feeling something, but he failed to realize that he CHOSE to put his career on the back burner.

He didn't like Robyn. Stuff he found out. Made him jealous. She was more famous than him. And made more money than him. Made him feel less of a man. Bobby always wanted to be the center of everything. They were just too toxic for each other.

Sometimes when you're boo'ed up for a long period of time.... there comes a time when u want a break, and it aint personal!. Unlike Robyn, Bobby had a v busy life outside Whitney's world. I can understand how that would anger him when she would show up unexpectedly (doesn't justify the beating tho).

On his reality show, Bobby was spending some quality time camping with his dad, brother and son. Here comes Whitney blowing up his phone asking what he's doing and demanding he comes home (For what???? I ask myself). Next thing she shows up, he packs up and goes home with her. ….He most likely resented her a lot too..

Ms k it has a lot to do with bobby cheating on her a lot . so ofc she’s gonna want to know where he was at and doing all the time so it had a lot to do with trust as well. she had a reason to act the way she did and i don’t blame her.

Bobby brown wasn’t jealous of her, he looked like he was annoyed with the industry in general, imagine a year before this award show he won an award over MJ, Hosted the Amas and performed the same night all in one night in 93, think about that for a minute and then fast forward to a year, he would feel out of place but then again if he was jealous I’m not surprised feel me, she won 8 awards at the amas and he didn’t get nothing I could imagine how he felt, like damn only a year pass and he was already a thing of the past

@@Thegazelle1000 okay she was on a whole another level, not just him everyone in that industry, close or even on the same level as MJ, so that’s now what I’m speaking about, Bobby brown was his own star, Bobby was angry with what the industry was doing they cased him aside and not only him most of the New Jack swing artist weren’t as loved and supported when they put out new music and that’s a proven fact, Bobby was the only one from that pack that was able to sell out still after 91, my issue with Bobby was quitting performing after 93 that was a horrible idea

He should have reinvented his music because He could sing, rap and dance. He should have listened to his brother when he told Bobby to stop party and leave these dam drugs alone to focus on his career.

@@Thegazelle1000 exactly I fully agree because remember it was the success of new Jack swing that helped the new R&B in the 90’s to be where is was, so he played a part in that and when it was time for him to really show out, he wasn’t around anymore, and that is so sad man, but yess he had his time tho to shine at least now and days he gets his flowers
