Met him at a meet and greet event at Borgata. He was rude and dismissive. For years I went to all his restaurants repeatedly and he was one of the chefs I looked forward to meeting the most. I have never been back to one of his restaurants after meeting him. The experience was particularly disappointing because I met Wolfgang Puck that same day and talk about a gracious and humble man. Bobby Flay needs to eat a whole stack of humble pies.

This is a huge lesson for everyone - Just because someone is famous or a celebrity does mean they are good or moral people. The era of celebrity worship is coming to an end. It is all smoke and mirrors and rarely tell the whole story. Sure, Bobby is a good cook, but he also had a lot of things that allowed him to reach that level of fame; if we really knew the back story, we probably would have never fallen for his “honey trap” from the beginning. We in the United States are trained to be puppets, trained to not critically think - we see something on television or the internet and if it is presented with enough razzle dazzle and fairy dust we fall for it. Someone gets on a screen with bravado and looks like they are cooking up a storm and have a network machine behind them and we fall for it. We believe, Truth is Bobby is a high school drop, a white male that was lucky enough to have a restaurateur as a father, who paid for him to go to cooking school and helped him gain connections to launch his career. Truth is Bobby is an arrogant playboy and a narcissistic who probably stands in the mirror for far too long everyday praising himself. Any woman that would give this character the time of day need her head examined. He can cook, but everything else is a script that we have been force fed for far too long. Thanks for the sensationalized piece, but you didn’t even cover everything. If people really knew how Bobby Flay gets down he wouldn’t have a single fan.

Yes, people like to spread gossip, even when, something isn’t true. Celebrities of any kind can’t be best friends of other celebrities without the media or anyone in general saying stuff that isn’t true. Hmmm, take for instance Loretta Lynn and Conway, cause, they sang together and became good friends with each other’s family, rumors spread and the media always put out there we’re having some lucid affair. Same thing was said for Kenny and Dolly, all it was a simple respect as music artists and a friendship. People read into more than what’s really there and believe something just because, someone spreads the rumor. People tend to see and make more of something that isn’t actually there. In point, people tend to view the world with blinders on.

Whatever happened to Bobby's first female assistant on his show. His shabby treatment of her made me dislike him. I do think he is a good chef though.

@sonyafox32714 жыл бұрын
That was actually his first show on Food aNetwork. He was a complete you know what to his Co-host Jack right on tv in front of everyone and practically belittling him. Again what a you know what a .... to not have or care to ignore any ounce of God given respect for his fellow chefs and man.

I always thought he was full of himself. I think it is important to remember where a person comes from, he could be living off the streets if he didn't fall into being a chef.

Most of those chefs steal and usually it's from some cook that's been making a family recipe that's been handed down through generations.
@loopsruby4 жыл бұрын
Is that what you do?
@damon197514 жыл бұрын
@@loopsruby I'm a cook and it happens a lot. You'll come up with a dish it ends up on the menu and everyone raves about the chef's new dish. Most of the time the chef is to arrogant to give credit, much less admit they stole it.

he is great. It is not exhausting as they say on the contrary with how good it is, I find it humble. Besides, everyone wants to beat him and the truth is that he knows that sometimes he loses and sometimes he wins. many chefs envy him
