Flay's new restaurant, Gato, in New York City, is white-hot, with reservations hard to come by. With his own TV show, books and cooking products, he is at the forefront of America's growing love affair with food. But above all, Flay loves to cook, as he shows Tracy Smith.

HEY BOBBY ITS ONE OF YOUR FANS FROM NYC. COOKING SAVED YOU NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT, but now take a step further by my better choices in food. How about going PLANT BASED FOODS. Just looking out for your health as well. You know as age progresses so does our health shows us signs either we need to stop including certain foods in our diet our include lots of fruits and vegetables. I understand the whole chef thing. I’m a chef myself. You still stand an inspiration for a lot of people. So why not show people what exactly is really health to eat. The research shows that animal protein causes a heck of destruction on our health. Why not make America better from their diet perspective. And who can do it better, of course BOBBY FLAY. Change your diet, change your life, improve your health. Still love for you Bobby. 🤗🌱👍 GO VEGAN.

It can be very hard to deal with some people acting as though since it’s a home bakery that it is less legitimate then a storefront or that it doesn’t make me a real “chef”. that's funny I was kick out of school middle of the year and forced to go work for my grandfather in the construction industry and I was treated just like any helper I've done this type of work since 8th grade I did graduate high school but that was the best punishment I've ever had

I can't imagine what it's like for Bobby to own and work with people in his own restaurant I wonder if he has to deal with people that he employs wanting to buddy buddy with him because he is a celebrity and then the people that go home and brag about working with Bobby Flay and all the energy that creates I don't know if I could handle all that on my plate if it were me
