We know he helped Bobby out, but it's not like he got sick and Bobby needs to stand by his side. The guy stole jokes and was a prick to most people. He might be nice now because he got so humbled being caught, but he screwed a lot of people over. I'm not sure how any comedian could really be friends with the guy. Even if he had you open for him.
