This actually makes me cry when I hear it. This performance is like a testament to humanity. It’s the human voice, performing a cultivation of human music. If you listen with eyes closed, and hear the slight vibrato in Bobby’s voice, the echo of the room, the light noise from the audience. This is such a human moment, and it’s beautiful.

I don't believe in god as western religion would, and I personally believe in god as a spiritual energy. And in this performance bobby takes us to another spiritual level, the deep human spirit. That's what I think this is, like you said, a human moment.

Back when I first moved to LA I worked for Chick and his family as an Estate manager. Each morning I would do a walk around inspection of the house and grounds to check to see that everything was good. Many times Chick would have his morning coffee while playing this beautiful grand piano in the living room. What a sweet way to start the day. As part of my contract I had backstage passes to any show he played. I caught a Chick Corea / Bobby McFerrin show at a theater in LA. Bobby had a huge following of vocalist fans. About halfway through the night he starts to point to parts of the audience and give them vocal parts to sing and then point to another section and give them a harmony part to sing. He had a big following of pro and up and coming vocalists so the sound of hundreds of sweet voices singing in harmony along with Chick and Bobby was really amazing and brought shivers down my spine and tears of joy to my eyes. I'll never forget that sweet, sweet night!💖

This is not only a great performance but a supe tribute to a world famous composer/musician and improvisor. Bobby's performance is not only innovative but combines all of the chops, timbral qualities and range of the human voice. That final low C and the journey leading up to it is purely on another level in vocal initiative. Totally beautiful!

So beautiful. I didn't get this style of singing when I was a kid...I had no idea just how complex and difficult it is. You make it sound and look so effortless. *cries*

Bobby M. is just a sublime artist. Reminds me of Satchmo's scat vocabulary, Mozart's attitude and Duke's logical arrangements. Bravo... listen to time index 5:59 and on.

Being has a tendency to 'return' to clusters ='the nature of solidarity' -a desire for empathy -(Wave)-(yin) and also, Being has a tendency to 'exist' as individuals ='the nature of self-expension' -a desire for breed-(Particle)-(Yang) Likewise, humans have two elements. We must realize that we all have both left and right elements =Solidarity and Self reliance No one has only one element. so 'Sum' derived from 'two poles' , (thesis, antithesis, synthesis) To develop intellect and ethics by harmonizing the two, It is good to realize it and balance it properly But A few people polarized the crowd(political partisanship) without balancing themselves. And They stole only the sum, only the synthesis from the triangle composition. Now We all have to get out of this deceptive situation. This is not the time for us to hate each other. We have to track down those who have been manipulating us
