Lyrics:
Thunder on the mountain, and there's fires on the moon
A ruckus in the alley and the sun will be here soon
Today's the day, where I'm gonna grab my trombone and blow
Well, there's hot stuff here and it's everywhere I go
I was thinking about Alicia Keys, couldn't keep from crying
When she was born in Hell's Kitchen, I was living down the line
I'm wondering where in the world Alicia Keys could be
I been looking for her even clear through Tennessee
Bob Dylan is a rare artist that has managed to transcend genre to become a universally praised songwriter, performer and musician of the 20th- and 21st-centuries. Starting out as a chronicler of social issues in the 1960s, Dylan has had true staying power with thirty-two studio albums released in 53 years.

Back in 1971 during the Vietnam war, I was in the Navy and Bob Dylan's music helped me through that horrible time. I still remember listening to his songs that took me away, to another place in my mind. Hey he saved the day for me a few times back then. Always been a fan of B.D. Thanks Bob you are so cool!! Welcome home if I haven’t told you personally yet. Yes Bob Dylan music was a big blessing during that crisis and I think he’s adequately helping us through this pandemic, may God bless his soul. Probably we’ve returned to our comforter seeking shelter from the storm, to quote a famous poet ;) Hopefully you’ll have a beautiful week ahead. Goodnight my friend. ☮️

In all the years I've been listening to Dylan, I've never heard Thunder on the Mountain before. It's just blown me away. He's done it again. Listening closely to the lyrics and rhythm, I see where another great chunk of our modern music comes from. And he does it so easily. It's where Neil Young and Eric Clapton were carefully formed. Crosby Stills and Nash. etc, Sheer, utter, brilliance.

He's a guy who likes to hide behind jokes, but there's tremendous seriousness available, and there's this dead-pan black humour that is so rich, and behind it all a joy that can never be tamed no matter how hard the trappers try trapping him. Do you guys ACTUALLY realize Bob is America's (and very possibly the WORLD'S) Single. Biggest. Music Icon. 9 million views is shameful, almost tragic. This is Gold. (Yes, with a Capital "G.") SOLID GOLD. His poetry is so good here. Lines like "Ive sucked the milk out of a thousand cow's" and "Ive already confessed, dont need to confess again" are SOOOO GOOD!!!!!! Bob doesnt have to keep making music for us, but not only that, he is still touring to this very day. And it gives me crazy big hope. Bob, WE TAKE YOU FOR GRANTED. I'll tell ya what.. Bob and some very good video editor had a ball doing this piece...and you know Bob had his hand in it. It's brilliant.. lots of unseen footage..Perfect rhythm for this cut! Bob smiling and laughing is always a treat! I lived next door to Bob in Pt Dume for a few years..Never met him, but loved listening to him and Petty rehearse from across the tree line. .. the Aussie friend of Valerie's in the Gypsy Van....he'll know.. Thanks so much for posting!

When I had just emerged from my Teens I was called a cynic, by Michael Murphy, I was taken aback a tad I did not know what the word meant by definition, but instintivly knew it was not positive. I liked Mr. Murphy ,but did not like being shrouded by the negative aura of cyniscisim,as the years passed I threw off the ghostly robe and became a sceptic. As I feel now sceptical of your maxim thus stated above, "Every song and Every verse, hmmm, . Thus I challange you. Not doubting the veracity of your statement, mind you, but following the sceptic arrow inside me that's shouting,"Impossible, you must have missed something or never heard!! So....First, not a song; A monologue; He was asked by the record company to write a few words or so about the ailing Woody Guthrie. He wrote 25 pages and asked his audience for their patience. Granted not a song ,but one did not get to hear Bob very often, so a small but powerfull gem. SO STAY SHELLY SHAY and give the folkes a page or two off the cuff. Second, "Wallflower." Third, "Seven Curses," easy one , except for the rolling guitar playing. No peeking. Pass and you shall have excorsized, the sceptic from me , (not my delinquent spelling) ."A promotion", you ask!! .Certainly ,in honour of the very first musician to be awarded The Nobel Peace prize for literature, our very own Laureate.....contd.

That sounds like poetic justice.I hope that army of orphans would help overthrow Satan's One World Dictatorship or the daughter of Babylon, since God didn't like the first Babylon ,so he might not like the second one either! Power to the People or Populism, Nationalism and Christianity where righteousness can thrive and God can make us new creatures in Christ or the actual Messiah or Savior from our sins.Vaya con Dios!
