Hi bob I don't think we realise how much stuff we carry round with us until we have to empty it out for a yearly service I just done mine this month and it time con tuning as well a year fly by u only gotta put it all bak now so well done bob .kev

I agree with what you said about the carpets, we started with them not in the van but changed our minds, feels more warmer and quieter with two dogs walking around. Look forward to you costing out vlogs. Nice one Poppy you tell them :)

Goodness, Bob, you do sound quite breathless, and look exhausted. Have you ever thought of delegating some jobs to Jenny....it seems you do all the driving, (even the Up?) as well as the camerawork and editing, and all this prep for the service etc. even the carpet washing. Maybe doing fewer jobs would help your energy levels. Anyway, I hope the service goes well.

My motorhome is two years old in January and is booked in for habitation service, and the Peugeot service (every 2 years) so I've been emptying my lockers etc into the spare bedroom. I put the seating cushions in there also as I don't usually use it in the winter months. I gave the inside of the windows a clean and a bit over enthusiastically cleaned the windscreen and knocked the rear view mirror off with my elbow so I've made another job (can't see how the covering comes off from around where it is attached to the windscreen) I assume it sticks to the windscreen but can't see inside covering where it now just hangs down. I've learned now to clean the windscreen from the centre outwards to the sides.

Thanks, if the rear view attachment was like mine, you twist it off, a quarter turn. It has like a 5 sided clip.

Hi Bob, do you ever put the motorhome on a weigh bridge and check your axle weights? When you go away you then add all your food and clothes plus I didn't see the deck chairs coming out and you do seem to carry a lot with you. I'm lucky where I am we have a weigh bridge just 3 miles away and he gives me a ticket for front axle, rear axle and combined weight at a cost of £3 total. From that I can then look up the required tyre pressures for the axle loads, from the Continental Tyre chart that they very kindly gave me when I made contact with them.

Thanks, I did a video about my visit to a weighbridge, and minus one Westie and one human, it weighed well under the maximum weight, so there us plenty if payload with a max weight of 4250kg. I tend not to leave chairs in the 'van in the winter. Also, Michelin don't give a weight based on the axle weights, they have a recommended pressure instead, which seemed a bit high. Thanks for the question, most motorhomes have carpets as standard, some cheaper ones had them as options.

Good job done Bob, nice speakers , what are they?. We had a similar problem with our van or should I say I had an argument with a fuel pump at Tamworth services. Small cut in the bottom of the rear panel and a repair bill of £ 4800, ouch

Hi there watched all your videos very informative but today I'm on my laptop so I can commentusually on the T.V. watching your channel, ( and its a hassle to comment on that ) it would be good if you took more photos of your trips,I have to wait until I win the lottery to get a motorhome??I'm an amateur photographer so I go all over Scotland doing Landscape photos, at age of 67yrs not as fit as I would like to be I see your going to Moffat in the new year I was there a few months ago took photos of "the grey mare's tail"I think that's what its called, you can correct me if I'm wrongkeep up the good work.Tom G Ayrshire Scotland

Thanks for the feedback, I tend to forget to take photos as I'm too busy making films. I did go to Grey Mare's Tail 3 years ago. Very beautiful waterfall and a lovely loch at the top, but a stiff climb up there. There are plenty of second hand motorhomes out there at reasonable prices, you just need to get on the ladder as it were.
