That case is cool. Interesting that it has space on the back for modules. At first, it seemed weird, but then I thought that could actually be really cool if you where collaborating with someone. Where they could put in or take out from your system. If you were facing each other for instance.

Really cool ideas on this, on my first DIY case I featured a back panel that was velcroed and it was very nice to connect modules to power. To avoid clashing on the aged cables it would just need an extra centimeter after the angle, also on top of the 1U at the very bottom so you can fit deeper modules? It's a very interesting experiment, I'd love to see videos about uncommon builds, for cases, build the DVORAK keyboard of modular cases!

Love the layout of the case. My first thought when looking at a lot of modular stuff is that I'd want it at an angle so I don't have to crane my neck to lean over it. It's a great format.

Looks like the challenge is not filling this up completely. If you do not fill it up completely, having the ability to move the power and 1u around as needed is a really cool idea. Would come in handy to move things around as needed if you are putting the case on a keyboard rack, up against the wall, etc.

Nice design maybe some multiple jacks or 1u modules facing the sky on top. I could see it being two smaller setups and you turn it at your desk to access the second setup. Maybe a cube version on a turntable could be fun with the audio routed through the center somehow.

My 3D printed case has bonus space too, but it’s 4HP modules mounted sideways. That’s where I keep my power module right now. I find it quite useful! I think the bonus space on the back of your case would be a tad more useful if it was slanted in the other direction. I’d just keep a more limited setup there to use on its own when I don’t feel like making a complex patch with lots of modules!

I would be ok with making it a cm or two taller and a cm or two deeper to allow for more room for 1 u modules. You could also use to those 3u to 1u adapters to stick a 4u module in the front or top. Also change the angle between the two 3u rows so the top/back row faces up a little more because are you not looking down at it a bit and maybe it would be better to have the top/back angled toward your face a little more and maybe that would resolve any bumping patch cables. It's a great idea. You could bolt a battery pack to the back and be cordless.

I think perhaps the middle 1U row would be better if set at an intermediate tilt angle between that of the the two main 3U sections. Also, perhaps extending the side panels on the rear, to offer some protection to knobs on rear mounted units, if the rack is ever placed on it's back, or pushed back into a wall.

I love it. I'm planning on getting a 60hp moog case that I will mount above it below my DFAM with the moog bracket things and I'm going to put a kick snare and hats and some other percussive modules in and if will be my drum machine. Pretty excited about it. That one kind of reminds me of it. Unfortunately I don't have the latest income in the world right now, so it's kind of slow going. Which sucks, but what can you do? Maybe I should have studied something a little more proactive then music? But then I might not have a need for the money because I might but have gotten into eurorack. Is a catch 22.
