Yes the 31 TTS sound chip is the only one released the others way way overdue!I agree don't want to weather mine either.Typical Hornby release an item and then there is a livery change. In this case 013 along with 020"is in the newer larger db cargo livery with a slogen added. The up side is this tone of red is db red livery and compared with 018 Keith Heller is Canadian Pacific red . Is a difference and Hornby have got it spot on.loved your review and likewise rate013 very highly, well done Nick.

Hi Cracking looking loco, bit new for me but great. Have you checked the back to back on the locos giving you trouble over the points, I had no end of trouble with Bachmann 37, 47 and Heljan 58s going off the helix and into the fiddle yard through the 3 way points, sometimes it would be just one axle that would jump and sometimes it only happened in one direction. It took a while for the penny to drop for me and I could have given up and sold a few locos if I hadn't seen a video on here were it was mentioned. This was also an issue on some s/h stock. Cheers Paul

The good ones wouldn't be good if we didn't have bad ones to compare too. :D

It looks like one of the LEDs is out on the front of the train. 6:43 marker. It might be normal, but it seems odd.

That 67 looks real great, I think the hornby tts sound chip would be a lot nicer in that loco :), I lobe the new angle with the tractor and hay bales :)

I really want those overhead wires. The only ones I can find are from the Hornby Juniors set which contains 4 'power poles'.
I got an absolute Bargain for a Skip, on Friday fair enough the Older Hornby 67, No 67018 Rapid unboxed for just £35.00 well I was trading in some surplus Models, and picking up some Res Bachmann Parcel Vans, the model runs really well, but the lights need looking at probably a wire come lose or something

I noted that you are having problems with some of your logos and rolling stock becoming derailed over certain points and curves. Unfortunately, this is a fairly common problem but there is a possible solution. I don't know whether you are aware, or have tried checking the gauge of the offending rolling stock with a back-to-back gauge. These are manufactured by DCC concepts and are available from many suppliers and cost just under £10. This frequently solves the problem. If the spacing between the wheels is only fractionally out half a millimetre. This can cause a problem. For the sake of £10. If you haven't already tried this, it's worth having a go to solve the problem because there is nothing more infuriating than a run being spoiled by derailments. I hope you don't mind me making this suggestion.

Not at all Barry, I'm very grateful of the constructive feedback I get! For me the issue was lots of little things combined to cause unstable running. that hopefully has been sorted now with the first progress video due next Friday. :D cheers Richard

A very nice, well detailed and smooth running loco, but, for me, I'm afraid that colour scheme makes it look like a toy train!
