The nicest thing about Bob Ross's teachings is that he does not overcomplicate the process with very little details, which can make non-artists understand easier when it comes to making their own painting. Sure his paintings looked detailed, but in reality they are all random strokes in harmony.

4000 people decide they don’t like a relaxing video, involving one of the kindest, most genuine souls that ever set foot on earth, and actual good art being made. He was once a sergeant in the Air Force. After retirement, he said he never wanted to raise his voice at anyone again. He took up painting as a hobby then this show came to be. He's also in his "zone", basically an area where he's most relaxed.

He’s such a gentle soul. I just watched a documentary about him. There’s is truly not a mean bone in this man. He was not greedy, not unkind, he truly just wants to show the world that anyone can paint. I couldn’t help from tearing up when his son was talking about him in his death bed. I wish he didn’t have to suffer from his cancer. He was such a legend and will always be missed by the world.
